“Oh Wow,” he said. “Oh wow. Oh wow.” – October 5, 2011.” Steve Jobs The Legend.

For the third time, my daily blog got interrupted. All night long I was just preparing a lecture slide which I presented for an hour this morning. Since it’s my first lecture, I delivered to students, I was more focused on preparing the presentation slides. Yet here again I’m back with some of my scribbled  words.

“Oh Wow,” he said. “Oh wow. Oh wow.”

These are the last words spoken by Steve Jobs before his soul departed from his body. A tech pioneer, Legend who gifted the whole world with sophisticated technologies died on 5th of October in his home. Cancer hit him hard!

Steve Jobs

Steve Paul Jobs, born in February 24, 1955, at San Francisco, California, gave us the whole world in our palm, pocket, wrist, bag. I completed reading his book and now I find him more awesome person. Not because he had a great personality. Read this Autobiography & Biography of him and your will find out what an ass he was at different times.

The Character and personality portrayed in the Movie is not the only image I discovered in his book. Steve at sometimes behaved like an ass. He actually did. For him all that mattered was performance, a neat and clean product, working demoable software. Every boss want’s a software to be ready within the given time, right? But Jobs was little bit more. He wanted eighteen months of product release to be delivered in about fourteen months. Many times he treated his employees that way.

He had his Reality Distortion Field always on his mind. He rarely took bath. Because he believed that the vegetarian diet he took gave him a good natural odor. But the board embers were so uncomfortable with the smell from his body. So that they had to ask him to take a proper bath.

He walked barefoot around his office floors and campus areas. During the meetings he kept his legs on the table. Even while talking with other members in the meetings, he did so.

Steve sometimes would say an idea as his own and share it with the same person saying “I’ve got an idea”. While that individual said I just shared it with you earlier, he would ignore the fact with “Oh Ya!” So he can also be titled as creator as well as stealer. Jobs cried many times whenever he realized things were not about to move out of his control.

There are some good things that Jobs said :

Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.
I want to put a ding in the universe.
We hire people who want to make the best things in the world.
It’s really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.

I got to read all criticisms and true facts about Jobs, both good ones and bad ones. The book was a good read which reflected a simple message “Think Different”. This is the message Apple used for promotion of Apple Products. It actually influenced the whole world. Today nearly after seven years of his death, completing his autobiography and biography, it feels awesome to be born in the Job’s Era. Among many legends that history remembers, Jobs is definitely one for me.

With completion of this read, I will start Hippie in a few days. The book, whenever I see it already gives a good vibes. Also with this blog the eighty-eighth day of daily blogging journey completes. And yes, yesterday was a forced break I had to take due to the presentation. Shit happens right! Also Study comes on higher priority than writing blogs. But the Journey Continues!
