Software Freedom Day 2019 by KUOSC, LibreOffice Localisation, Wikipedia, Editathon and more.

Thank You all the participants, participants from NIST College Banepa, juniors, Guest from WLIT and my Mentor Saroj Dhakal for your valuable time and support.

This SFD was more productive than any other SFD organized by KUOSC. Because we presented the progress on the Alumni Project done by the contributors of OpenLab, DoCSE and also did an open call for KUOSC volunteers to join the project in adding more features. Also on a discussion with the Board Members of KUCC, we groomed ideas to convert the format of IT EXPRESS as a Research paper/E-Journal. Board seems excited on this initiative and soon an announcement with proper planning will be pitched to the KUCC members.

Besides that, we did Wikipedia Editathon and LibreOffice Translation for an hour each. Next Sonika Baniya shared her experience on Women in Data and WLIT.

Shout out to Anil Kumar Shrestha Yogesh Bhandari Prabhat Neupane Saleena Koirala, Ashish and all new faces of KUOSC, KUCC Board. Congratulations to you folks. And good wishes for upcoming events.

Update of this event we organized was covered by The Document Foundation for organizing LibreOffice Localization. Please go through the link below:
